You will take an active role in mentoring Care Assistants to ensure they deliver the highest standard of care to our residents. Previous supervisory experience within a care home or care environment is required, along with experience in writing and updating care plans. You will need to be an experienced driver with a minimum Cat B licence (up to 3.5ton) held for at least 12 months. Experience within our industry is advantageous but not essential as long as you have an ability to learn quickly, a strong work ethic and are physically fit.

You will take part in light cleaning duties to support clients to stay independent in their home for as long as possible.

You will be a companion for the client so taking the client to appointments or out for coffee or to activities will also be part of the role, keeping the client as part of the community will encourage more independence and as for being a Care Assistant - It takes a village!

You will be flexible, have excellent communication and service skills and enjoy working with a variety of customers, including young people.
