You will play a key role in supporting strategic planning, operational optimisation, leakage reduction, and regulatory compliance across potable water supply networks.

You will need to provide evidence of eligibility (e.g. a passport or long birth certificate and proof of NI) and current proof of address (dated within the last 3 months), will be required as part of the recruitment process.

You will learn to utilise CAD software to produce drawings for vital infrastructure projects, contributing to innovative and sustainable water solutions for our communities.

You will gain a Level 4 Civil Engineering Senior Technician Apprenticeship by attending either Leeds School of Building (block release), or South Thames College Group (day release).

You will oversee the commercial elements of bids and significant standalone Major Projects, developing competitive commercial proposals with partner organisations, whilst meeting business objectives and providing opportunity for outperformance.

You will have strong commercial acumen, strong business analysis skills and the ability to interpret and understand complex financial systems and reports.

You will work within a core of scientific and engineering experts, supporting a range of clients, primarily from the water sector but also the energy and infrastructure sectors.

You will have extensive experience in 2D / 3D hydrodynamic and water quality modelling and either have attained or be working towards chartered membership in a relevant professional institution.
