You will be required to work 1 in every 4 weekends, however this is subject to change during peak times. No night work required. Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work.
You will carry out a range of duties from inventory control, goods in / deliveries and spare parts / warehouse management. This role would suit someone with Warehouse & logistics experience from an engineering background or similar looking for long term job security, a highly varied role and career development opportunities.
You will be responsible for The accurate picking and dispatch of goods using voice technology Checking quality, shelf life and ensuring packaging is robust in preparation for delivery Ensuring all products are assembled and methodically stacked to the highest standard for our clients.
You will be working with a food product and Hygiene is paramount. The warehouse is a chilled area however not freezing.
You will receive a rate increase after you have worked 12 weeks and this is a temporary to permanent position.
You will need to have good communication, be able to follow instructions and work at a fast pace.
You will need to have high levels of accuracy, attention to detail and a strong work ethic; previous export compliance knowledge would be beneficial as you will be raising commercial invoices and previous logistical experience would be highly desirable.
