You will provide vital support to vulnerable adults as part of a fully integrated community crisis response team. Your responsibilities include undertaking statutory Care Assessments to identify eligible needs, submitting these to the panel for funding authorization, and conducting Mental Capacity assessments.
You will be an NMC registered Nurse, preferably with a background in community and, or primary care.
You will contribute to teaching excellence related to nursing care and contribute to the academic and clinical development of Adult Nursing at the University.
You will also be encouraged to contribute to research within the school and join an appropriate research group.
You will also be responsible for the co-ordination of care and ongoing social care support including providing information, advice and guidance where required.
You will be required to complete mental capacity assessments and support in gathering information relating to safeguarding concerns when appropriate.
You will work alongside the senior Nurse to manage the on-call service and manage the ward budgets, and lead by example, acting as a role model to all members of the nursing team, leading care teams and creating a positive learning environment that makes a difference and changes lives for the better.
