You will be responsible for the secure loading, unloading, and safe transit of goods using large commercial vehicles, requiring a high degree of skill in maneuvering heavy goods vehicles. Core duties involve ensuring load integrity, operating ancillary equipment responsibly (if required), and accurately reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptly.
You will have extensive experience of leading a transport/fleet service at a senior level with budgetary/financial control and responsibility, along with up to date working knowledge of transport services issues and the relevant legislation.

You will ensure that all business requirements (including project governance) are being met and that the delivered solution is sustainable and fit-for-purpose. Support the definition, execution and management of Service Level Agreements with OEM partners for a variety of critical operational assets.

You will be prepared to learn and work well in a busy, fast paced environment. If you have experience within production or within a factory this would be an advantage.
You will be responsible for: Undertaking all aspects of highway maintenance works including but not limited to drainage, kerbing and other civils schemes.
