Trainee Marine Engineer jobs in Belfast

You will be joining an established team that offer design services across harbour, coastal protection and river engineering projects. As a specialist in the marine team, you will be involved in the design of new harbour developments, capacity and assessments of existing marine structures, underwater inspections and a wide range of related marine infrastructure

You will have the opportunity to apply your skills, knowledge and expertise on both national and international projects.

You will be client-facing and will take responsibility for technical project delivery and business development, reporting to the Marine Ecology Lead.

You will have excellent writing and communication skill, able to tailor complex scientific information for different audiences.

You will be supported by senior engineers and benefit from structured training and clear progression. The RoleReporting to a Line Manager, you will be involved in the detailed design and delivery of marine and civil engineering works. The role includes both head office-based design and site-based contract administration, offering excellent exposure across the full project lifecycle.
