You must have good geographic knowledge and ideally you will have at least 6 months current driving experience with Class 1 HGVs. Full in-house training will be provided for the position.
You will be responsible for mooring vessels, loading/unloading freight and vehicles, and operating port machinery. Port Operative - Key Responsibilities: - Safely moor vessels on arrival and prepare them for departure - Load and unload freight, vehicles, and passenger luggage
You must be comfortable working outdoors and in an operational environment with large vehicles and heavy equipment. Full training will be provided, but experience operating any of the following is essential: - HGVs (Class 1 or 2) - Agricultural tractors
