You will be able to clearly share 2 years experience supporting individuals who require high levels of support and are often deregulated.
You will have experience of providing detailed and accurate daily record keeping and incident reporting.
You will demonstrate creativity when engaging and establishing trust with children and young people and demonstrate sound communication and judgement.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member through Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory membership check prior to commencing in this role.
You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
You will operate under the Council’s WORKSMART arrangements which promote mobile and flexible work practices from any council premises travelling throughout the Council area.
You must hold a BA (Hons) in Social Work or equivalent and be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (or confirm intent to register).
You will be installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and generators.
