You will play a key role in supporting young people with complex emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs, while leading shifts and supporting staff teams to deliver high-quality care.
You will support a lady in her 30's who is on 2:1 support. This service is classed as complex due to the nature of her conditions, mild learning disability, Autistic Spectrum Condition, PTSD. As a result of these conditions, she can experience significant anxiety, which can lead to behaviours of distress, including physical aggression.
You will be required to:Work alone and as part of a team supporting people with Learning Disabilities.
You will have a person-centred approach to supporting people with their day-to-day living in order to provide a caring, safe and effective service that is responsive to the needs of the people we support.
