You will be joining our expanding Buildings Technology Services team, as an Associate or Associate Director, with accountability for the technical leadership, project management and delivery of projects from inception through to handover to the client. - At WSP our Building Technology Systems (BTS) team are providing Smart, ICT (Information and Communications) and AV (Audio Visual) design.

You will have strong documentation and reporting skills, including preparing materials for risk and audit committees whilst experience delivering in 1st Line of Defence or integrated control functions. Being proficient in risk tools (e.g., ServiceNow GRC, Archer, MetricStream) is seen as a plus in addition to being familiar with risk frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27005, NIST, COBIT, FAIR).

You will need to be available for the full duration of this programme and be able to travel to our Newcastle office in Cobalt Business Park for the first and last day of the week. Travel expenses will also be covered for required office days. The remainder of the programme will take place virtually, and if required you can be provided with a laptop and internet dongle for use from home.

You will also have exposure to working with partners gaining invaluable experience and building your confidence with senior members of staff.

You will also receive internal training from the professional services learning and development team.

You will be working in a client-facing, dynamic team, developing the knowledge and skills needed to be a trusted business adviser.

You will focus on accounts preparation (management and year-end), liaising with internal tax teams with stakeholder management at the heart of your day to day. In this role you will handle complex assignments and portfolio reviews so it will suit an individual who can operate with autonomy.
