You will have a proven track record of delivering successful projects and/ or a portfolio of projects in a context relevant to Thales and working in a complex, multi-site organisation together with the following:- - Leading teams both directly (up to 5 people) and matrix (up to 50 people), including responsibility for discipline and objective and development creation, coaching, etc.

You will work with capture, bid and projects / programmes teams as they define their approach, supporting the teams in generating robust and defendable costed solutions that deliver through the various phases of the development, manufacturing and support life cycles.

You will be assigned to a succession of new or existing programmes where you will work with and be supported by other engineers to design and develop engineering solutions to meet the needs of our customers.

You will have gained or be on track to achieve a bachelor's degree in a STEM Subject in one of the following subject areas:

You should be comfortable with Matlab (or something similar) and know your way around Word and PowerPoint. Bonus points if you've dabbled in C/C++ and understand object-oriented programming - We'll want to see examples of your technical writing and presentation skills - think reports, papers, seminars, conferences, the works

You will become a key member of the team, with technical knowledge and practical expertise in the use of both common and specialist tools and test equipment, including the use of a variety of measuring, testing, diagnostic aids/equipment and processes to ensure individual components, assemblies and/or integrated systems meet the required specification.

You will support the team to deliver sonar systems and equipment solutions to deadlines and within budget, including participating in systems requirements and design work, project reviews, system test and possibly site and platform visits for surveys, installations or trials.
