You will have overall responsibility for the supervision/management of a health visiting caseload, being accountable for the quality of care delivered through robust assessment, referral and communication processes and implementation of evidence-based practice interventions to address need.
You will be required to provide support to these services as required. This post involves working in a variety of home/near to home community environments as well use of current technology in line with remote working procedures.
You should be qualified to Degree level and possess relevant demonstrable management experience working at a senior level within the NHS. You will work with the district nursing teams and other community nursing teams supporting the transformation of nursing and excellence in care agendas.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting modernisation of community nursing services within the Health and Social Care Partnership and provide the clinical experience necessary to support care delivery in the right place at the right time.
You should therefore note that candidates who are unable to provide confirmation of current NMC registration, in line with projected start date for this post, may not be shortlisted for interview. This post requires PVG Scheme Membership / Disclosure Scotland Check. The role requires travelling across the Inverclyde area to visit patients in their homes, in care home and in clinics/health centres.
You will also be covering Phototherapy, Topical treatments, Patch testing and assisting with Surgical sessions.
You will also work within the nursing and multi-professional team to ensure a high standard of person-centred care within the wide variety of both Consultant and nurse led clinics.
You must have a diploma/degree in Physiotherapy & current registration with the HCPC. Previous experience of working in the community is desirable & a driving licence is essential.
