Technical Support Supervisor jobs in Eilean Siar

You will work alongside a multi-skilled team to deliver the project to time, cost, and quality requirements.

You will be collaborating with the Project Manager to plan, execute and monitor projects, ensuring timely completion of project tasks and deliverables.

You will be communicating with stakeholders to understand project needs and goals, whilst demonstrating SSE core values.

You will be a valued member of the Regional Leadership Team working collectively to shape and deliver our strategy and play a pivotal role in helping us achieve our mission.

You will lead on the delivery of diverse and innovative high-quality services, as well as identify service development and growth opportunities.

You will have strong operational and registry knowledge, sound judgement, and the ability to manage projects with minimal supervision. This role suits someone who enjoys coaching others, improving processes, and applying technical expertise to support regulatory compliance and high‐quality client service.

You must have substantial experience in an administrative role within a team-based environment and have working knowledge of systems administration including systems maintenance and systems reporting.

You will have experience of maintaining online client record systems and proven organisational and planning skills.

You will work with the existing engineering team and help contribute to the direction of the project and team - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement solutions - Create and maintain APIs, rSpec testing suite, and middleware to facilitate data flow between systems

You will have experience in regulatory change, compliance and/or risk management, in the insurance industry, and you will be proactive in building expertise in response to changes in the market and regulatory focus areas.
