You will be qualified to HNC or equivalent. The successful Technical Services Manager will be responsible for a team of 6 engineers that carry out the planned and reactive maintenance to this large industrial site and its plant. Typical plant found on site includes steam boilers, water treatment plant, gas fired CHP engines, chilled water systems, standby generators and ancillary equipment.
You must have relevant qualifications, commercial experience along with domestic, working in your core trade with additional experience and capability to complete tasks outside your competency, working in and around Portsmouth.
You will be required to supervise approved Contract Partners, providing risk assessments and method statements where permit to work is required for a given task.
You will also be required to use a Toughbook/iPad to capture all work activity and job status in line with workflow processes.
You will work across a designated area in the York area, ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations while completing high-quality work for tenants and clients. The Electrician will be: - Completing EICR testing within occupied social housing properties. - Carrying out additional electrical works including remedials, upgrades and general repairs.
You will be trusted to work independently on site, maintain high installation standards and represent the business professionally with customers and stakeholders. Salary and benefits snapshot • £40,000 to £45,000 basic salary depending on experience and qualifications
