You will be responsible for the Building, Fabric and Civil Maintenance on a large PFI healthcare site in Birmingham.

You will manage a team of Assistant Engineering Managers, Supervisors and Engineers to manage all reactive and planned maintenance which will include all internal and external building fabric work; flat roofs, ceiling tiles, windows, doors, plastering, painting, fire doors etc.

You will be tasked with the control of the complete design process involving the management of consultants, liaison with the relevant statutory and local authorities and other internal and external stakeholders as necessary. To ensure the designs complies to all necessary legislation, associated standards and Vistry Group specification, policy, and procedures.

You will work closely with them during the transition and receive ongoing support to ensure you succeed in your new role. Your responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day operations of the technical support team, ensuring high service standards, and acting as an escalation point for complex technical queries.
