You will be responsible for the design delivery of substation plant, equipment, and protection systems across a whole range of electrical infrastructures as well as new connection projects in both the distribution and transmission sectors.

You will achieve this ensuring the detailed preparation and delivery of functional specifications, equipment schedules and associated scheme drawings.

You will provide crucial support across the operations team, working closely with the Operations Manager, Contracts Managers, and Contracts Supervisors, while liaising with site operatives and subcontractors to ensure projects run smoothly.

You will work closely with the Estimating department through the bid to; Review tender bills, prelims, projects brief etc. to identify both risk and opportunity. Review of subcontractor and supplier enquiries. Engagement with key trades - develop relationships with supply chain.
