You will work towards a Level 4 Diploma in Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing.
You will also be studying modules towards a BEng (Hons) Aerospace Engineering Degree on a part time basis.
You will undertake your training at the Academy for Skills and Knowledge. Gaining training in practical and theory-based engineering; learn electrical circuits, aircraft tting, fabrication, ight line awareness, machining, carbon bre and Computer Aided Design.
You will then also complete placements in Facilities Management, Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Infrastructure and Estates covering:
You will continue to learn 1 day per week in the Academy for Skills and Knowledge. What qualification will you get? Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering, in a standard suited to your role (e.g. Machining, Mechatronics etc)
You will undertake your training at the Academy for Skills and Knowledge at Samlesbury
You will be trained in both practical and theory-based engineering
You will learn the basics to give you a grounding for completing your placements
You will continue with academic studies, including an HNC in aeronautical Engineering (1 day a week at college)
