You will work as part of a large team, in a lively working environment. We are looking for somebody with strong interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail, willingness to assist in all tasks, and who is happy to constantly learn and develop new skills. This role has been assessed as suitable for hybrid working, details of which will be discussed and agreed with the successful individual.
You will be actively involved in the development of a new laboratory, contributing to method development, validation, and the operation of current molecular organic contamination measurement systems.
You will be based at the Oxfordshire Advanced Skills (OAS), Culham rotating through blocks of 4–6 weeks in duration.
You will be based at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL) with training in 4–6‐week blocks at Oxfordshire Advanced Skills (OAS) at Culham across the year.
You will be fully in the workplace where you will further hone your skills to become a Target Operations Technician.
You will need to have the following: At least 5 GCSEs/or equivalent (including Maths and English) at grades 4+ (A-C) or above
