You will translate operational requirements into effective PLC, HMI, and automation solutions. Key Responsibilities of the Control Systems Engineer:

You will work hands on with PCBs, peripherals, and embedded software, testing firmware behaviour at unit and integration level.

You will collaborate closely with firmware and mechanical engineers to ensure firmware functions correctly, reliably, and in line with defined requirements.

You will collaborate with development and application support teams to troubleshoot message flows and resolve integration issues, whilst overseeing capacity planning, scaling and tuning of Solace infrastructure to meet both current and future operational demands, automating wherever possible.

You will have a high degree of accountability and responsibility from Day 1.

You will be an integral part of the Ripple Trading and Markets Team, building scalable, resilient and performant trading systems in a constantly evolving and fast paced environment.

You will have real impact and have the opportunity to drive the architectural roadmap, whilst looking to optimize away manual inefficiencies.
