You will work closely with ecologists, hydrologists, engineers and planning professionals to deliver high quality spatial data products, visualisations and analysis that inform project decisions. Key responsibilities include: - Develop, maintain and manage GIS datasets (desktop & cloud-based) to support environmental assessments, surveys, monitoring and reporting.
You will cover skills such as data mining, manipulating data, visualising data, and reporting on data. Study time for the qualification is approximately 30 hours and qualification is achieved by completing a 1-hour multiple choice exam.
You will be provided with access to a tutor and a 1-hour online revision workshop prior to sitting your exam.
