You will provide person-centred care and support to individuals with learning disabilities in all aspects of everyday life and to assist them in enjoying a wide range of activities.

You will have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for variety of people we support.

You will work alongside individuals using a recovery-focused approach, helping them build confidence, develop their abilities and enjoy a fulfilling and valued life.

You will champion the rights of people with mental health needs, ensuring they are empowered, respected and supported to make their own choices as they progress on their recovery journey.

You must be warm and able to work in a person-centred way with people with a learning disability. The service is easy to travel to with excellent public transport by bus and tram.

You will be paid on a weekly basis. Gender is considered to be an occupational requirement – Equality Act 2010

You will need to be committed to promoting independence, well-being and enabling service users to enjoy an active lifestyle.

You will work closely with our local managers to book shifts in advance and planned around your availability, as well as being offered shifts on an ad-hoc basis.

You will ensure a high standard of quality of life for the people supported working in collaboration with the women receiving a service as well as in partnership with agencies involved in the woman’s support and care planning.

You will have excellent line management support and development from a CQC registered manager.
