You will be working within a growing London practice with c. £120m AUA and around 80 core client relationships, supported by full back-office infrastructure and team.
You will take a hands-on role in technical work while also providing leadership, mentoring and client management.
You will be an experienced transport planner from a consultancy background, comfortable operating at Principal or Associate level, with strong technical capability and confident client-facing skills.
You will support project managers by managing schedules, contract requirements, and integrated reporting, including EVM and cost-risk assessments. Overnight Travel might be involved!
You will play an active role in supporting landowners, developers and project teams through the planning process, from early-stage assessment through to determination and appeal.
You will be confident working independently while contributing positively to team-based project delivery.
You will join a growing and established team delivering a wide variety of interesting projects for clients in the private and public sectors.
You will also prepare transport studies for our public sector clients.
You will undertake site visits and attend meetings as required. The role will also involve some client liaison, such as attending meeting.
You will ensure smooth execution throughout the shift, managing any challenges that arise, and handing over a clear, detailed brief to the incoming Day Shift Supervisor. Every shift presents new challenges, requiring quick thinking, strong communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
