You will ensure maximum occupancy, tenancy sustainment, rent collection and customer satisfaction, while meeting regulatory, legislative, performance and budgetary requirements.
You will also provide expert advice and high-quality reports to senior leaders, the executive team, board and committees.
You will be part of a supportive team doing all sorts of things – from security and searches at the gate, to managing deliveries, supervising visitors, and monitoring phone calls and CCTV. It’s a varied and active job involving tasks which combine some desk duties with more physical tasks such as lifting, carrying and walking to escort vehicles across the prison grounds.
You will be required to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to commencing employment with Midlothian Council, the cost of which will be met by you.
You will be required to re-pay this amount to the Council by salary deduction over 6 consecutive pay periods.
You will be based at either our City or Coach Lane campus as part of the IT Application Support team within Digital Technology and Transformation Services.
