You will be working with young people aged 10 to 17 who have a range of mental health needs and may have experienced trauma or challenging life circumstances. In this role, you will provide day-to-day care, emotional support, and guidance to help each young person feel safe, valued, and supported.
You will encourage positive routines, build trust, and help them develop life skills and confidence.
You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK. Flexibility in your availability, with the ability to travel to different care settings. A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively. A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
You will be responsible for providing care to students during school, and feed in directly to the assistant head of years/head of years to ensure that student care provision is being carried out.

You will be put onto all of the same CPD as permanent staff members, and encouraged to grow.
