You will work as part of a team providing personalised care and support to residents and people who use our services in line with established care and support plans.
You will work with older people, frail elderly, people with a learning disability and autism, people with mental health issues and people with complex needs.
You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK. A minimum of 6 months recent UK based care experienceFlexibility in your availability, with the ability to travel to different care settings. A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
You will help set up the room and tidy away at the end of the session and help prepare and distribute refreshments as well as supporting the session facilitator by distributing materials such as songbooks. Once the singing session starts, you’ll provide encouragement to participate in the activity, and support the session facilitator with the activities, either online or in person.
You will deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the general estate, including apartment cleans.
You will help them to book appointments, arrange transport and where necessary, escort them on visits and assist with their shopping.
You will be a warm, friendly individual with ideally some experience of working in a care or support environment.
You will work as part of a team providing personalised care and support services promoting independence, health and wellbeing to people with learning disabilities living at our supported housing scheme
You will need to work flexibly to cover evenings and weekends as required to meet the needs of the service.
