You will be responsible for performing planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on-site, using the PDA and Planon system to ensure the university remains fully operational.
You will be expected to work on design projects involving concrete and steel mainly.
You will also be required to work on site investigation and evaluate design proposals.
You will be provided with support to meet the project commitments. You would be expected to start to work autonomously after completing few supervised tasks.
You will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across multiple student living sites, including Seething Wells and Kingston Hill. This is a varied role covering electrical, mechanical, plumbing and general building tasks, with the support of a wider maintenance team.
You will be home-based in the North West (Manchester, Leeds or nearby), carrying out site inspections and surveys across the region, while being fully supported by a highly experienced technical team based in Portsmouth and Monmouth. What You’ll Be Doing - Carry out building surveys, condition surveys and defect inspections across Defence, Housing Association and Commercial properties
You will be required to provide cover on an out of hour's basis, covering the wider London area as part of an on call rota.
