You will apply your expertise in DMRB, MCHW, Eurocodes and modern design standards to produce high-quality engineering solutions for complex highway structure schemes. Working closely with the Team Leader, you will plan, coordinate and manage allocated schemes while providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
You will be given autonomy for your own projects, under supervision, and exposure to all aspects of the work, which you would not get in a bigger firm. The offices are close to Rochford station, though a car driver would be preferable for attending site visits.
You must be able to design in all the main materials and use Autocad as well.
You will provide structural design and engineering input across a varied project portfolio, working closely with surveyors, project managers and external design teams. Project types include:
