You will be an experienced engineer – ideally chartered or close to chartered status – who has the technical capability and confidence to lead projects from concept to completion. Strong experience in both new build and refurbishment schemes is essential, as is the ability to communicate ideas clearly and work well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
You should be keen to work on a variety of heritage projects, often award-winning, ranging from small to large scale. There is a high proportion of Chartered Engineers and excellent Chartership training is provided if needed. The office is a creative studio environment with free flowing posh coffee and fruit.
You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates - City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2&3 - A proven track record in commercial or property maintenance - Excellent customer service skills - Happy to cover a large site - Ideally experience in High End Residential - Honest, hard working and reliable
You will work independently on customer sites, delivering both preventative and reactive maintenance, maintaining high safety standards, and representing the business professionally at all times.
You should be adaptable, able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced service environment, and confident communicating technical information to customers and colleagues.
You will typically find responsibilities such as: - Performing routine maintenance: Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and servicing on a range of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems - Fault finding and repairs: Diagnosing complex faults and carrying out efficient repairs to minimise system downtime.
