You will be involved in producing structural calculations, reports, and specifications, as well as attending meetings with clients and collaborating with other members of the design team. The role is primarily office-based, with occasional UK-wide site visits as required.

You will be involved in all stages of building engineering projects from strategy evaluation and concept development to detailed design and contract administration.
You should have extensive experience of working within a Consultancy, working to British Standards.
You should be commercially aware, ambitious and ideally should have some experience of team management.

You will be responsible for preparing written reports and tender specifications, and will represent the company at various design team and site meetings.
You will be responsible for mentoring graduate/junior engineers, in order to support the growth and development of the team.

You will be working from engineering drawings, carrying out MIG welding and general fabrication using a variety of hand and power tools. This position would suit a Welder/Fabricator with a background in structural steel fabrication, looking for a permanent, full-time role with consistent hours and a strong team environment.
You will support production teams with programming, recovery procedures, continuous improvements and maintenance tasks while working closely with engineers, tooling suppliers and quality teams.
