You will play a key role in shaping system architectures, functionality design and first-in-type solutions, driving reuse and where appropriate while also leading the creation of new, modular components where the solution demands it. The role spans the full engineering lifecycle - from early concept and bid support through detailed design, development, integration and delivery.

You will be our lead tooling and fixturing design engineer, responsible for the design of new products and turnkey solutions to support both existing and new applications.

You will supply technical details and content to ensure tooling documentation is maintained, and also update control registers as needed.

You will work closely with experienced and chartered professionals, gaining hands-on involvement across both site-based and office-based activities.

You will also have opportunities to assist in mentoring junior team members as the business continues to grow.

You will work closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team to manage design progress, interface resolution, approvals, risk mitigation and technical governance throughout the project lifecycle.

You will be highly motivated, have experience in designing training programmes (both in-person and e-learning), and have excellent stakeholder management skills, working across key business areas to help shape the content of the learning. You will play a critical role in supporting strategic growth, managing commercial risk, and ensuring estimating excellence across complex, high-value schemes.
