You will be involved in the design and delivery of projects from concept through to detailed design. Responsibilities include producing structural analysis and finite element models, detailed calculations, sketches, and technical specifications. You’ll work with a wide range of materials and advanced digital engineering tools across multiple sectors.

You will work closely with architects, developers, and contractors to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective structural designs in line with UK standards and best practice. Key Responsibilities
You will perform complex technical or professional work activities and assure delivery to meet client requirements. In depth knowledge of basic structural engineering principles generally associated with building structures is essential for your role.
You will have a thorough knowledge of design codes and standards being used in the UK.
You will prepare and review calculations, oversee colleagues' work, and coordinate with UK-based and international teams. On larger projects, you may deputise for the LDE in specific areas, taking on delegated leadership responsibilities. Travel to client sites, on-site attendance, or even full project deployment may be required.
