You will mainly be working on the male rehabilitation wards but there will be some cross‐over and opportunity for rotation to the acute ward as you progress within the role.
You will be an integral part of a large, well established MDT with extensive experience to draw from.
You will support pupils who present with ASD, social communication difficulties, speech delays, emotional needs or developmental differences. Your day-to-day role will include implementing personalised support plans, helping children engage in play-based learning, supporting transitions, and encouraging positive interactions with peers.
You will have a safeguarding responsibility if appointed. The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references. This post is not exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
