You must be HCPC or NMC registered and formally trained and experienced in ADOS or ADI-R.

You will have the opportunity to support your patients to achieve their goals for as long as clinically indicated.

You will be working as part of a specialist Stroke team including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Rehabilitation Assistants and Social Workers.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services to both primary and secondary aged students. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the delivery of speech and language therapy across the school. Carry out assessments for both current and prospective pupils.

You will join an experienced and highly motivated team in Dorchester. Pay rate ranging between £22.00 - £26.00 P/H per hour depending on experience. The SLT we seek will have previously worked as a post-graduate therapist with paediatrics. They will be encouraging, supportive, and understanding of the varied patient needs they may encounter.

You will be involved with clinical care and decision‐making including assessment, diagnosis, advice and therapy interventions and work in collaboration with children, their family and other professionals in a variety of settings including schools, pre‐schools,rah clinics, children's centres and sometimes at home.

You will also educate patients and their families on strategies to manage and improve their conditions, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the development of service protocols and standards. Qualifications and Experience Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (HCPC and RCSLT approved)
