You will have the opportunity to work closely with specialist teams including Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy.
You will be working in classes of approximately 28 children, supporting one on a 121 basis, supported by a class teacher and other support assistants.
You will lead on the 20-week statutory assessment process, ensuring your team consistently delivers high quality Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
You will build professional and productive relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders, such as families and school leaders.
You will work closely with teachers and a range of professionals (such as therapists and specialists) to ensure every child is supported to meet their full potential. Key responsibilities will include:Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils with diverse learning needs.
