You will work closely with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders on high-impact programmes spanning modelling and simulation, autonomy, geospatial systems, synthetic environments and digital twins.

You will remain deeply technical while setting direction, leading teams and acting as the technical authority across projects.

You will steer the development of complex digital twins and autonomous systems, bridging the gap between mathematical theory and real-world engineering. Technical Authority: Lead the design of UE5 based simulations, Robotic systems, and Digital Twins. Team Leadership: Line-manage engineering staff and lead small, agile delivery teams.

You will bring proven experience of leading major software engineering programmes, ideally within the defence sector.

You should demonstrate strong commercial judgement, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate senior stakeholders and diverse teams alike.
