You will help to support and develop Technicians and Apprentices, by providing on-task guidance. Provide skilled, practical support to the Test Engineers for all component and sub-assembly test activities on a wide variety of platforms including HiL transmission and VTT dyno, brake dyno, eight-post rig, fuel, cooling, and structural test rigs.

You will act as the technical authority for a complete car area or system, owning projects from a blank CAD canvas through concept, detailed design, through to delivery.

You will take ownership of projects from concept through to prototype, testing, and race deployment, working closely with other engineering departments to ensure world-class performance and reliability.

You must have hands-on experience with Driver-in-the-Loop or real-time simulation systems (e.g. dSPACE, Speedgoat, Beckhoff), strong proficiency in simulation and data analysis tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and Python, and a deep understanding of vehicle dynamics, HIL systems, motion platforms, telemetry, and performance optimisation.
