You will have;Solid understanding of payroll legislation, processes, and systems. High level of accuracy in handling data, calculations, and reports. Skilled in using payroll software and Excel for reporting and analysis. Ability to support and guide payroll staff, delegate tasks, and monitor performance.

You will also be assigned an expert tutor and a support mentor who will work with you 1-2-1 or in group sessions to provide additional training and support. Once the HTML & CSS courses are complete, your trainer will move you forward to the next stage.

You will have;Strong end‑to‑end payroll processing experience from start to finish. Excellent understanding of UK payroll legislation and statutory payments. Confident working independently and managing the full payroll cycle alone. Experience with LGPS and TPS monthly returns and reconciliations.

You will use your technical background in electronics engineering to effectively steer development activities, manage delivery timelines, and ensure solutions are robust, reliable and fit for purpose. Working closely with senior technologists and development managers, you will guide the team from early requirements capture through to successful deployment.
