You will take accountability for delivery across three clear workstreams: Continuous improvement of our in-house Research and Development capability through improvements to our rigs, plant and logging. This covers the T&D Laboratory, Dynos (Powertrain, Transmission, Brake, and Heat Rejection cells), and Materials Laboratory.
You will create roadmaps and improve CFD models while collaborating with specialists to develop and implement robust capabilities. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data-driven CFD modelling, effective communication skills, and a passion for team collaboration.
You will be expected to be able to deliver change, earn the technical respect of your team and peers and to collaborate closely with specialists from across the entire technical team.
You will be responsible for identifying the objectives and successfully delivering these within programme constraints.
You must be comfortable challenging yourself and others with respect and passion to drive our projects forward whilst striving to achieve the best possible results. As our Performance and Simulation Engineer your responsibilities will include: Propose, investigate, and develop solutions to address the performance limitations of the current car and deliver lap time improvements.
