You will support the Property Services and Operational Manager in the delivery of high quality service provision incorporating support, welfare, safety and security of all children and young people in the service and promoting the Companys ethos and values.

You will undertake social care assessments and reviews under the Care Act 2014, managing a caseload of service users requiring complex case management.

You will identify needs and work with children and families to provide support and implement plans.

You will collaborate with professionals to support children and their families.

You will develop care plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children, and provide immediate support and intervention in crisis situations to protect children from harm.

You will support and engage in integrated, multidisciplinary work to deliver coordinated care. Collaboration with partners will be essential to safeguard service users through effective risk management, information sharing, and accurate record-keeping. Additionally, you will use a strengths-based approach for individualized support planning to meet people’s needs effectively.

You will work within a fast-paced Duty Team, acting on referrals from the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), attend to Section 47 enquiries, and complete Single Assessments.

You must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, and hold a full UK driving licence.

You will work with adults aged 18+ on assessment and support planning.

You will also need to conduct mental capacity assessments and handle safeguarding responsibilities.

You will be an effective multi-tasker with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.

You will ensure all recordings are up to date and child-focused, reflecting the voice of the child and the impact of their daily lived experience.

You will attend multi-agency meetings, reviews, and conferences as required, representing the Local Authority in both Private and Public Law proceedings.
