You will identify policy gaps, develop evidence-based solutions, lead campaigns, manage a small team of analysts, and represent CCW with senior stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, strategic thinking, and influencing at senior levels. This position is available across three specialist routes:
You will have the opportunity to promote and lead on a number of key activities and initiatives and will have responsibility for a number of key functions within the department, including: - Supporting the development of messaging and materials for news media, social media and other digital channels including writing, editing, management of channels and the use of internal approval systems
You will have at least two years experience conducting high-level research, analysis, policy work, or working as a lawyer or legal advisor in a relevant area.
You will hold a primary degree in law, social sciences, or another relevant discipline (or equivalent relevant experience).

You will build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be responsible for keeping parts of the GDCs regulatory policy framework up to date. Policy Managers are overseen by Heads of particular policy areas and an Associate Director of Policy and Research who steers the work of the whole team.
