You will work closely with an L&G Retail Product Team Lead, embedding yourself within the team to: - Understand the current (“as-is”) operating model - Design the future (“to-be”) SRE model - Coach and mentor team members to adopt SRE principles and ways of working - Help shape and onboard new talent (1 onshore, 1 offshore)
You will be the bridge between support, engineering, and cloud operations - Investigating and fixing complex application and infrastructure issues. - Monitoring capacity, performance, and error budgets across all deployments. - Designing automation and tooling to improve reliability and reduce manual work.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring equipment reliability, taking charge of reactive repairs, preventive maintenance activities, and fostering continuous improvement in our around-the-clock operations. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pipes and fixtures (radiators, cylinders, etc.) associated with district heating systems in residential properties. This includes testing, inspection, fault diagnosis, and delivering repairs to the highest standard.
You will be joining a very experienced team where everyone takes responsibility for their own projects.
You will be handling whole projects autonomously, providing complex design solutions.
You should have extensive buildings design experience and ideally be Chartered or working towards this status.
