You will have responsibility to lead/manage a group of Senior Managers, with delegated principal contractor responsibility for delivery of scope including Enabling works, Major Civils, Networks and Buildings. The role will entail management of a matrix team of wider disciplines forming the project Area Management Delivery team eg: the SZC quality team, safety team and suppliers.
You will lead operations across multiple sites as a key member of the Operations Leadership Team, ensuring customer needs and business objectives are met
You will drive an active safety agenda, engage with Branch Safety Committees, and foster a culture of zero lost-time accidents and ultimately no accident book entries
You will also hold:- A Degree, Bachelors, MSc or HND in Civil Engineering - Knowledge and experience of Highways standards and procedures - Knowledge and experience of high-speed road projects and setting out engineering - Experience working for a major highway's contractor - CSCS qualification, TSW and valid driving license.
