You will be part of a tight-knit team of 4 responsible for undertaking setting out, reading designs and drawings to maintain control points and benchmark for accuracy. Further to this you will liaise closely with other teams and carry out checks, producing relevant documentation as required.
You will work closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and subcontractors to maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety. This role would suit a technically strong engineer with proven experience on UK construction sites who is confident working independently and taking ownership of setting-out duties.
You will also be responsible for ensuring all setting out activities are conducted in accordance with site safety rules. Other responsibilities will include: - Using surveying instruments (e.g., total stations, GPS) to set out works accurately. - Coordinate with civil and electrical teams to ensure alignment with design specifications.
