You will be in charge of overseeing the care staff and will be expected to assume full management in the event that the Home Manager is not present.
You will help the Home Manager with pre-admission assessments of residents, ensure that each resident's care plan and daily records are kept up to date, and foster effective communication with the residents' families and other organisations
You will work with customers who are elderly and who may have dementia. It is important to us and our customers that you understand the needs of the clients. Therefore, experience working with elderly and frail customers and a willingness to undertake additional training around dementia, alongside manual handling training is essential.
You will support the Specialist Services operations team in providing leadership, support, mentorship and line management to the Registered Home Managers.
