You will be required to carry out tasks and duties delegated by the Registered Manager in an effective and efficient manner, ensuring at all times the social and domestic care needs of service users.
You should hold an SVQ 3 Social Services and Healthcare, or equivalent level qualification, to enable registration with the SSSC.
You will also be responsible for the supervision, management and administration of operational equipment, vehicles and estate belonging to a number of Coastguard Rescue Teams.
You will act as mentor and coach to Station Officers, ensuring that there is a consistent standard of leadership and compliance with policy across the teams they are allocated.
You will carry out a range of care tasks, ensuring safe, person-centred support in line with NHS Orkney policies. The role includes maintaining care standards, participating in ongoing training, and contributing to a positive patient experience.
