You will play a key role in introducing new and existing products into full-scale production, applying lean manufacturing principles to deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions. Working closely with production, quality, and project teams, you’ll ensure components are delivered on time and within budget while driving continuous improvement across machining processes.
You will oversee key project deliverables, including budgets, timelines, and quality standards, while ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and Consultants, across a variety of sectors.
You will play a key role in introducing new and existing products into full-scale production, applying lean manufacturing principles to deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions. Working closely with production, quality, and project teams, you’ll ensure components are delivered on time and within budget while driving continuous improvement across machining processes.
You will support manufacturing activities by directing best methods of manufacture and target areas of improvement using a Lean approach.
You will lead technical discussions with customers, quote lead times and costs for jobs, support NPI projects, assist in CI activities and support the operational team including programming CNC Milling and Turning machines to meet customer demand.
You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and project managers to develop accurate and competitive bids. You will take the technical lead in designing and delivering Protection & Control systems across critical UK transmission and distribution projects. This role requires strong experience in the UK sector along with a solid grasp of IEC 61850 and the ability to mentor fellow engineers.
