Senior Support Worker jobs in Margate
You will be required to support the manager in the daily running of the service and must be IT literate.
You will also undertake staff supervisions and chair team meetings.
You will be working within a team to provide 24-hour cover, 7 days a week. Therefore, you may be required to work evenings and weekends and cover sleep-ins (paid at £70.47 per night).
You will also require to hold a Full UK driving licence to provide transport for individuals at the service. Sense support our staff to gain skills and qualifications and experience – such as we take part annually in a Mentoring scheme with 11 other charities – this is addition to providing all staff with a great induction, and plenty of training.
You will need to be a good role model.

You will be supporting 2 individuals in their home. This includes supporting with everyday living, cooking, cleaning, personal care, finances, medication, working, shopping and trips. The duties are varied and no two days will be the same. The people we support are individuals and they are all treated as such.
You will be working in our residential service that is home to 4 very characterful individuals with very different personalities. For genuine occupational reasons we are looking to appoint a female candidate only (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9).
You must hold a full manual UK Driver's License, and be willing to drive a Sense vehicle.
