You will lead the inspection function, protect the customer, and drive sustainable improvement, with the authority to stop production where quality is at risk. Overview of clientA specialist engineering manufacturer operating in a regulated, high-precision environment. The business supplies technically demanding products where quality, compliance, and consistency are critical.

You will be responsible for resolving complex technical issues related to the design, assembly, and testing processes of production hardware. You'll be joining a fantastic team in a purpose-built modern facility where you'll be able to showcase your skills and expertise in a highly technical and challenging product supporting role.

You will lead product and process changes, analyse production data to identify improvement opportunities, and ensure processes remain capable, controlled, and aligned with customer and regulatory requirements.

You will also ensure the timely completion of 8D's including the implementation of corrective actions.

You will be the first esculation point for serious quality issues. In addition you will oversee a small team of quality inspectors.

You will influence architecture decisions, mentor engineering teams, and ensure our software meets the highest standards of reliability and certification. Key Responsibilities - Technical Leadership: Define software architecture and technical strategy for flight control and actuation systems.

You will respond to breakdowns, support training initiatives for print minders, and work closely with management to implement spare parts processes and reduce downtime. The Electrical Engineer will also use the electronic maintenance management system to log engineering activity and manage inventory.
