You will also contribute to inspections, maintenance activities, minor design work, record-keeping, and the development of a low-carbon, sustainable future. - Lead on safety and ensure contractors follow high H&S standards. - Plan and deliver civil engineering works and maintenance.
You will be responsible for sourcing and procuring spare parts, consumables, and materials required for engineering and maintenance operations. The role also supports inventory management by assisting the storeman in maintaining stock accuracy, ensuring availability of critical parts, and optimising stock levels.
You will visit and interface directly with suppliers and customers supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions and play an active role in the APQP process for NPI. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Management of supply base quality activities for programmes ensuring both proactive and reactive actions are in place to assure on time delivery of approved parts for Manufacturing.
You will oversee coordination, manage digital scope, budgets and programme, ensure compliance with ISO 19650, and lead data management through to structured asset handover in line with Government Soft Landings.
You must be a Level 3 Vehicle Technician or equivalent to (City and Guilds, NVQ or IMI). Full UK Driving License. Consultant - Jason Evans - Octane Recruitment
