You must be able to make decisions, act on your own initiative and operate in a pro-active and professional way.
You must be fully conversant with the IET Regulations, Building Regulations, BREEAM and the principles of sustainable and low carbon design and be competent with electrical engineering calculations (Amtech/Trimble, Relux, etc).
You will take ownership of the system designs of cutting‐edge electronics for defence and robust position, navigation and timing (RPNT) systems.
You will join a leading defence and national security consultancy, working on software for products in the RF communication and sensors domain.
You will be responsible for the detailed design, implementation and testing of components of the product software, working with an agile team.
You will design, simulate, and develop RF and analogue circuits for critical applications while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Ideal candidates will hold a degree in Electronics Engineering and possess proven experience in RF system design, RF simulation tools, and hands-on experience with RF test equipment.
You will be working on fabrication technologies for radically novel optical fibers, including glass preform manufacture, optical fiber drawing and associated processes.
You will also work closely with the Central Operations Team, Finance, Resourcing & Recruitment and Supply Chain Management.
You will be expected to spend a minimum of 40% of your time at your specified work location but will be expected to attend any UK sites as required to deliver the BU business objectives.
